Highly efficient lighting system |
UNC facilities services removed 408 incadescent luminaires, totaling 81.6 KW, from the General Storeroom and replaced them with 228 high pressure sodium luminaires totaling 29.6 KW. Electrical demand was reduced by 52 KW, with an estimated annual saving of $12,221. All work was performed by physical plant personnel, including both design and installation. |
